Editorial Policy
MTG Compendium prioritizes accuracy, traceability and useful context over publishing speed.
Primary sources first
For news and rule-sensitive information, MTG Compendium prioritizes official and primary sources whenever available.
These may include Wizards of the Coast, Magic.gg, official Magic Arena communications, release notes and official tournament information.
Original presentation
Editorial content should explain and contextualize an event rather than reproduce another publication.
Third-party reporting should be attributed and independently verified when possible.
Facts and analysis
Confirmed facts, derived statistics and editorial interpretation should remain distinguishable.
Incomplete or uncertain information should not be presented as established fact.
Updates
Published content may be updated when source information changes, additional context becomes available or an error is identified.
